Fullerton Leaders Endorse Harry Sidhu for Supervisor
Bi-Partisan Support for North Orange County Businessman
Anaheim, CA, Sep 10, 2007
Fullerton Council Member F. Richard Jones, M.D., and Mayor Pro Tem Pam Keller have announced their support for Businessman and Anaheim Mayor Pro Tem Harry Sidhu in the run-off election for 4th District County Supervisor.
“Harry Sidhu is the right choice for the people of Fullerton,” declared Councilman F. Richard Jones, M.D., a local Physician and former U.S. Air Force Medical Corps Serviceman who has served on the City Council since 1996. Dr. Jones served as Fullerton’s Mayor from 1999-2001.
“I support Harry Sidhu to be our next County Supervisor because he will listen to the concerns of Fullerton residents. Harry is a business and community leader with a successful record for creating jobs,” said Mayor Pro Tem Pam Keller, a former teacher, former Fullerton Parks and Recreation Commissioner and current non-profit Executive Director who is serving her first term on the Fullerton City Council.
“It is an honor to earn the support of these outstanding Fullerton elected leaders. Their endorsements demonstrate a continuing surge of momentum for my candidacy,” stated Sidhu. “North Orange County needs a Supervisor with business experience to create jobs, not a lawyer who creates controversy.”
A local business owner, Harry Sidhu has served nearly six years on the Anaheim City Council. Prior to winning election to the City Council in 2004, Harry worked as a consulting engineer with Hughes Aircraft and other defense companies, before earning his real estate license in 1991. Harry moved to Anaheim in 1994 where he resides with his wife and two children. Harry has served as a Youth Soccer Coach, Community Advisory Board Member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim, and Advisory Board Member for the Anaheim Family YMCA.
