Bio:

NRI Kash Patel born on Feb 25, 1980. He is an American Lawyer, former federal prosecutor and government official known for promoting conspiracy theories.

He held key positions during Donald Trump's first presidential term, including roles as a National Security Council official, chief of staff to the acting U.S. Secretary of Defense, and senior advisor to the acting Director of National Intelligence. In November 2024, following Trump's re-election, Patel was nominated to replace Christopher Wray as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Earlier, Patel was Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council (NSC). In this capacity, he played a key role in advancing President Donald J. Trump’s counterterrorism policies, which included overseeing operations that led to the elimination of high-profile ISIS and Al-Qa’ida leaders such as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem al-Rimi. He was also instrumental in securing the safe return of several American hostages. Additionally, as Principal Deputy to the Acting Director of National Intelligence, Patel supervised intelligence operations across all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies and delivered the President’s Daily Briefing.

Before his work at the NSC, Patel served as National Security Advisor and Senior Counsel for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). He was a key figure in the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and played a vital role in overseeing classified intelligence and counterterrorism programs. He also contributed to legislation ensuring funding for global intelligence and security initiatives.

Patel’s legal career includes serving as a terrorism prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ), where he led investigations across multiple conflict zones and successfully prosecuted individuals affiliated with terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Al-Qa’ida. Additionally, he worked as the DOJ Liaison Officer to Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), collaborating with elite counterterrorism units on high-priority global operations.
Patel began his career as a public defender, handling complex cases—including murder, drug trafficking, and financial crimes—through jury trials in state and federal courts.
A native of New York, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and later obtained a law degree from a New York institution, along with a Certificate in International Law from University College London Faculty of Laws. Outside of his professional work, he is a passionate ice hockey player, coach, and fan.
