Darshan Grewal
- Darshan Grewal was mayor in 2005/6 and a Labour councillor for Hounslow Heath ward until 2014.
- Speaking of his appointment, Grewal said “I am delighted and truly honoured to take on the role of Mayor of our Borough. I am looking forward to a year in which I can do my best to promote the London Borough of Hounslow, serve our community, and work towards a safe and harmonious Hounslow.”
- His daughter Puneet Grewal is a councillor for Hounslow West, and his son Vickram Grewal ran for selection as Labour’s candidate in the upcoming Cranford by-election.
