Co-operation Minister Capt. Kanwaljit Singh here at Punjab Bhawan

the need for more exchange in the fields of education, latest agri-
techniques, agro processing, agro forestry, packaging and power
sectors.

appreciated the concerted efforts being made by the Punjabis in
strengthening the Canadian economy and underscored the need to have
closer co-operation between the two countries. He stressed the need
to chalk out collective strategy to meet the challenges posed by
global economic meltdown. He further said that keeping in view the
fact that Punjab and British Columbia, both have agriculture as
their mainstay, could compliment each other's efforts.

keen interest in playing a significant role in enhancing the cooperation
between two states and was quite impressed with the strides made
by the Punjab in upgrading its infrastructure. Both the leaders
