NRI's Opinion & Help

Canada is a great Country but initially NRI Professionals become very uncomfortable.....

Canada is giving immigration on point basis. Mostly Indians ,who are coming under this category are well educated .They come to beautiful Canada for better future because they are fedup from corrupt Indian system and politicians/bureaucrates/Police. But after visiting Canada new NRIs neither get jobs according to their qualifications nor are cabale to do skilled jobs.

My nephew who was student of final year M.D.S in India reached Canada after clearing English(Academic) test. Now he is again preparing for TOFEL TEST for for D.D.S. enterance exam.It is realy a funny rule because a person who has taken all his education in English he is again subject to TEST OF BASIC ENGLISH. An English Lecturer from Punjab University,Chandigarh was advised by authorities to verify her M.A.(ENGLISH) Degree from the University that her medium of instructions of M.A.(ENGLISH) WAS ENGLISH. Is it possible that M.A.(ENGLISH) can be completed in Punjabi or Hindi?

It is correct that a NRI, new immigrant is not known to the New system but he can be improved otherwise e.g.with the special cell of the Govt. New immigrant firstly leave his settled career in his country then he has to go through a long planning .When he enters in BEAUTIFUL Canada, he feels totaly adverse against his thinking. His reletives/friends cann't help him due to their busy scadule. He does not earn any money without a job/business.

All the employers demand experience in Canada. NRI's qualifications are not recognised by the academic institutions. He has to pay fee for the accrediation which he when converts in India's currency amounts to Rs 20000-30000 . Nothing is free for him. His medical cover starts after 3 months. He is unable to understand the local English accent although he is excelent in English. Due to change in whether/culture/water/food he and his family face health problems.Whithout income, Taxi is costly for him because he always converts currency in Indian Rupees.

An NRI, new M.D. doctor can not get the job of nurse or hospital attendent. He or she can become Doctor after getting education accoring to the system. He can not go back due to heavy expenditure on immigration process. Secondly he wants to stay because of best system and environment. He thinks about the better future of his childern in beautiful Canada.

So if all the NRIs who are well settled and Political leaders in Canada want to do something for new immigrants, it will be great welfare of human beings and society as a whole..... Virk
