The India Association of Inland Empire has lost a dear friend and
a dedicated community worker, Ramesh Patel. He served as its president
2002-2004, and also as a board member for many more years till his
death. He started several organizations in Apple Valley; and with
his hard work and public support opened the Krishna Valley temple
and other Guajarati organizations in Apple Valley.
Patel had a very kind and big heart, and supported
the community with his money and dedicated labor. As a big supporter
of Indian Association of Inland Empire, he always helped and donated
funds for any worthy cause. When Tsunami devastated South Asia,
the India association organized a fundraiser to which he donated
a large amount of money. He visited the hard hit areas at his own
expenses and made sure that the funds were used properly. He personally
witnessed the purchase and distribution of sewing machines to the
needy families. The recipients have learned to make a living to
support their families.
On behalf of India Association of Inland Empire,
I convey my deepest condolences and sympathy to the Patel family.
Ramesh bhai, and his wife, Manjit Ben, started “Sundar Kand
Path” every Tuesday in our temple. So, in his memory, this
coming Tuesday, July 28, “Sundar Kand Path” has been

for him.
