Lauren and Nora, Get Well Soon!
I love my Mama
I was having a scary dream
The doctors cut me open and took a part of me
They said it was going to hurt me later
But right now, they were hurting me
They took out the bad cancer
they sowed me nice and clean
I woke up, and I was scared
I didn’t know if it was over
I looked around for my mom
I called out her name, MAMA!
She scooped me up gently
And held me close to her
She is the only one I trust
She will know what to do
She loves me and takes care of me
I know she hurts when I do
I will get well soon!
I want her to feel better too
I chose her to be my mom
Because there is no one better than her
I love her so much, so
Someday I hope to be like her
