Respect your Self

It is nice to care for everyone’s feelings. Pay attention to your own feelings too. Don’t ignore what your heart says. If it says it is not good, most probably it is not. Question and say some thing if anything hurts and makes you feel bad. If you stay quiet and ignore your feelings, you will get used to it and others will get used to it too. Every time your heart is hurt, whether you say something or not and your might think you have moved on, some residue of the pain will linger. Unless, the pain pattern stops, the accumulative residue will build up and start hurting your heart till you can’t take it any more. You can’t blame others who hurt you if you never complain, because they might not even know what is happening in side you.

Your first responsibility is to your Self. If you don’t make yourself important no one else ever will. If someone loves you they will also accept who you are. You don’t have to always sacrifice yourself to be accepted or loved. If you can’t love yourself, can you really totally love anyone else? Taking care of someone else with all your might while not getting any care in return, might seem like love; but there might be some acute need for attention and acceptance hidden behind all that work.

Don’ let anyone make you feel like furniture, an object without feelings. It hurts and keeps hurting till you do something about it. You have to know that you don’t deserve to feel that way. Don’t let anyone hurt your self esteem. No one should make you feel less about yourSelf.

No relationship is worth it if it doesn’t make you feel good about your Self.
