"If betrayed by a friend you trusted...then read this..."

Listen to your heart when you pick friends

You are minding your own business and going your merry way and a dirty insect flies in your mouth. Yuck! Spit it out quickly. It will leave a bad taste in your mouth for a while but then you will be fine. If you don’t spit it out quickly, you might end up swallowing and it could make you sick. It could even be fatal.

Be friendly but be careful about who you take as a friend. You make friends to be nice to yourself. So, remember that and don’t get caught up in being a friend just to be nice to someone else. They are looking out for themselves. You need to look out for yourself. If you are not nice to you, how can you expect anyone else to be nice to you?

Watch out who you befriend. Always practice sifting and keeping the good ones and spiting out the bad ones for your own emotional health. Keep you eyes and ears alert. Learn as you go along. If your heart says it is wrong, it most probably is. No one is truer to you that your own heart. The longer you take to rid of them the harder it will be and harmful they will prove.

Don’t ever feel alone, you are always with your best trusted friend, YOU. You will find some true friends if you are patient and truthful to your own feelings.

Unworthy friends are no better than the dirty insect you came in contact with. So treat them like that. Make a quick clean break and don’t look back. Don’t listen to excuses and take them back. If they hurt you once, they will hurt you again and most probably worse. Trust your heart; it knows what is best for you. If for any reason you are uncomfortable, do not invest any more time or energy in them.

Spit them out quickly, learn from the bad taste and move on.
