Multimedia Sikh Museum at Gwalior Unveiled by Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia
Dr Bains (Canada) Sets World Record in Establishing Multimedia Museums

The Hi-Tech Multimedia Sikh Museum at Gurdwara Data Bandi Chhod Gwalior was today opened for public by Honourable Jyotiraditya Scindia State Minister for Commerce and Industry India. The event was conspicuously attended by large community representing the different sections of the diverse colours of the society.
The museum is brain child of prominent museologist Dr Raghbir Singh Bains of Canada who spent 25 years of his life to develop the project for wellbeing of the entire humanity. Dr Bains is 75 years of age and is an institution in himself who set up the world record of setting four museums in a short duration. He set up the3rd and 4th museum at Gwalior in a record time. The third museum was unveiled in Canada on Oct 10, 2010.
While addressing the public at Gurdwara Data Bandi Chhod Gwalior, Mr Scindia applauded the Sikh community for earning a special niche in the world arena by dint of their sacrifices made to preserve human dignity, liberty , equality and fraternity. The Minister congratulated and appreciated distinct efforts made by Dr Bains for setting up the exemplary multimedia project in India that would benefit the younger generation of India and especially Gwalior in knowing the Sikh religion, history, culture, and Sikh heritage. He further said that the future generations would benefit from this technology for which services of Mr Bains will always be remembered.
Globally decorated Sikh Scholar Dr Bains who earned applauds and accolades from all over the world said that the multimedia Sikh museum that contains audios, videos, animations, graphics and text will certainly address the youth in general to shun social evils like problems arising out of drugs, adultery, domestic violence, foeticide and AIDS to build up a better India to establish peace and prosperity in the ailing world. He urged upon the socio-religious role models, media and especially youth to play their positive role in the times of extreme exigencies to build up a strong and prosperous global society.
An eminent environmentalist, Padam Shri Baba Sewa Singh appealed the public to clean polluted minds to dream of a society that would stand for truthfulness and justice in the world.
Honourable Jyotiraditya Scindia was presented with a memorable memento. Dr Raghbir Singh Bains was honoured with ‘Pride of India’ Award for his distinguished and exemplary services offered to the global society .
