Indian Students killed, one injured in road accident near St Louis,
Missouri, USA

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Adusumilli,
27, of Ballwin, Mo, fiancé of Anitha Lakshmi Veerapaneni,
23 (2nd in photo) was driving the car with the three Eastern students
and Veerapaneni's cousin, Satya Chinta, 23, of Aurora, Ill., when
he attempted to make a right turn onto westbound Dougherty Ferry
Road, other driver, Christine L. Miller, 41, of Kirkwood, Mo., was
traveling east in the westbound lanes of Dougherty Ferry Road struck
the right side of his vehicle. The accident occurred on Saturday
morning about 1.45am.
Three friends: Priya Darshini Muppavarapu, 22 of Hyderabad;
Anitha Lakshmi Veerapaneni, 23, from from Visakhapatnam and Anusha
Anumolu, 23 from Vijayawada died in car accident
All were pronounced dead at the scene at 2:15 a.m.

- Photo1: Muppavarapu had also recently become engaged with plans
to marry in May 2009.
- Photo2: Veerapaneni had recently become engaged to Netish Adusumilli.
They had plans to marry on May 18.
- Photo3: Anumolu was planning to go to India in July to visit
her parents.
- Veerapaneni's cousin, Chinta was also pronounced dead at the
scene.
- Driver Adusumilli in stable condition
- 2nd driver, St Louis policewoman Chrissy Miller was listed in
serious condition
According to the media, an off-duty, reportedly drunken, was driving
in the wrong lane. Miller, a 12-year veteran of the Sunset Hills
police department and had a clean record. The investigators said
the officer was speeding and possibly drunk.
