Two Indian food vans set on fire in Australia
NR

Sydney, July 19:
Two food vans belonging to an Indian restaurant were set on fire Monday in this Australian city, days after a blaze gutted a neighbouring eatery owned by a fellow community member.

Police and fire crews found the vans of Surry Hills belonging to Maya Da Dhaba on Cleveland Street, well alight at 2.30 a.m.

They extinguished the fire quickly but both vans were destroyed, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Police said it was believed the vans were deliberately set alight and they are now looking at links between Monday's fire and a blaze at the other Indian restaurant the Copper Tiffin July 5.

The Copper Tiffin is two doors down from Maya Da Dhaba.

It is believed that the Copper Tiffin was also the victim of an arson attack. Four people living in the unit above escaped unharmed.

As the fire engulfed the Copper Tiffin, two people were seen running from the restaurant, which also recieved a bomb threat a few days ago.
