Senior Akali leaders demand Sukhbir be elevated as Punjab Chief
Minister
Moga, Jan 8, 2009
Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today promised
that NDA will reduce the petrol prices by at least Rs. 15 and
diesel prices by Rs. 10 per litre in proportionate to the fall
in the international price of crude after coming in power at centre.

lead UPA government was just an eye wash as it was much less than
the expectations.
He said the UPA government was just deceiving the people on this
issue as crude prices had decreased from 147 $ to 50 $ per barrel
which was equivalent to oil prices five years back. He said logically,
the prices should be reduced to the level in the country five
years back. He said moreover, no relief had been provided in case
of LPG and kerosene price level till date which directly affect
the common man.

economic crisis, the centre could control inflation and boost
economy by desired reduction in oil prices.
