RESIGNATION OF MEDICAL EDUCATION MINISTER A SIGN
OF MORALITY:Dr.RANU
But promotion of Medical Superntendent as Prinicipal is unjustified.
Feb 01, 2009
Dr,P.S.Ranu
National President
Sehajdhari Sikh Federation
The episode of deaths of new born babies in an incubator due to
short circuit was a shocking news which has racked the hearts
of all the Indians and has reflected the poor administration of
the Hospital authorities when no one was present on duty at the
incidence. The resignation of the Medical Education Minister Sh.Tikshan
Sud is a sign of concious morality and is really greetable and
appriciable. The Minister has shown a courage to come forward
and accept his moral responsibility on the basis of his department
for the lapse.
But it is very much astonishing and shocking that the person responsible
for the administrative lapse has been promoted and innocents have
been made scapegoats.
The Rajindera Medical Hospital is under the control and supervision
of the Medical Superintendent Dr.Surinder Singh and the Medical
College Principal Dr.SherGill has been suspended and maade a scapegoat
who has nothing to do with the Hospital administration directly
and the Medical Superintendent has been given a promotion by elevating
him as the Principal of the said Medical College.
This is really a shameful act of the State Govt. who instead of
putting soft touch to the wounded hearts has inturn tried to hurt
the sentiments of the victimised families.
