Election Results:

The Congress party:

The Congress party has won eight out of 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab in Patiala, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Anandpur Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib, Sangrur and Ludhiana.

1. Patiala: Preneet Kaur has defeated Prem Singh Chandumajra by about 97,383 votes
2. Gurdaspur: Partap Singh Bajwa defeated Vinod Khanna who had won Gurdaspur seat three times
3. Fatgehgarh Sahib: Sukhdev Singh Libra defeated Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, Charanjit Singh Atwal with margin of 34,219 votes.
4. Sangrur: Vijay Inder Singla former Youth Congress president has won from Sangrur by defeating MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa
5. Anandpur Sahib: Ravneet Singh Bittu president Punjab Youth Congress defeated SAD leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema.
6. Jalandhar: Mohinder Singh Kay defeated Hans Raj Hans of SAD by margin of over 51,000 votes.
7. Ludhiana: Manish Tewari defeated GURCHARAN SINGH GALIB
8. Hoshiarpur: Santosh Chaudhary of Congress defeated Hans Raj Hans of SAD by margin of over 51,000 votes.

The Akali Dal: SAD has won Bathinda, Faridkot, Ferozepur and Khadoor Sahib:

1. Bathinda. Harsimrat Kaur, wife of Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, has defeated Raninder Singh son of former CM Capt Amarinder Singh by over 90,000 votes.
2. Faridkot: Paramjit Kaur Gulshan, the sitting Akali MP defeated Sukhwinder Singh Danny by 62,042 votes.
3. Ferozepur: Sher Singh Ghobaya sitting Akali MLA has won defeating a Congress stalwart sitting MP Jagmeet Singh Brar.
4. Khadoor Sahib: Dr. Rattan Singh Ajnala defeated Rana Gurjit Singh of Congress party .

1. Amritsar: BJP candidate Navjot Singh Sidhu from Amritsar has won election while defeating his nearest rival of Congress Om Parkash Soni.
