NRI Rajesh Mohan Dogra, a resident of
Ontario, has alleged police inaction in his property
dispute case.
In his application to Senior Superintendent of Police
AK Rai, Dogra stated that he is the owner of a plot
at village Phullanwal, which he bought in 1986. I
also took physical possession of plot. In 1995 I visited
India again and set up a small dairy project in this
area and constructed all requisite infrastructure.
I started this business after taking loan from Canara
Bank and Punjab National Bank. However, due to some
reasons my business did not prosper and in 1998 I
flew back to Ontario. In the meantime Gurdev Kaur,
Manjit Singh and Kuldeep Singh encroached upon my
land, he alleged.
During his recent visit to the place he found that
entire building has been removed from the spot. On
inquiries I found that the encroachers have built
their own building. I then approached SSP and gave
him an application. However, no case has been registered
so far. I am supposed to fly back to Canada soon,
and urge the state to give me justice,
he said.
