NRI set up a new business class hotel at a cost of Rs 30 Crores

A new business class hotel promoted by Chennai-based Deccan Agency group is coming up in the city offering a wide range of services to its customers.

Days Inn Deccan, a joint venture hotel started by lottery and real estate promoter, H Ansraj and Rajesh S Jain, an NRI, is being set up at a cost of Rs 30 crore. The hotel is under construction at Royapettah High Road in the city.

The hotel will start functioning with initial 48 rooms out of its 102 rooms, two restaurants, two conference halls and a bar, besides state-of-the-art health club and banquet halls. It will be opened for the public by the end of August and full-fledged operations of 3-star hotel is expected to start in six months time.

The nine-storey Days Inn Deccan will have a lobby cum lounge with ample parking space around the building. The other notable features are well furnished rooms, roof top multipurpose banquet hall and a sophisticated health club.

One of the hotel's focus area would be banqueting and conference facilities with clean hygiene and comfort to target the corporates. To adequately assist in the operation of the hotel, an internationally reputed hospitality group has been roped in to get the benefit of their worldwide experience in hotel management. Auromatrix Hotels Private Limited will run the Days Inn Deccan under licence from US-based Days Inn Worldwide Incorporation.
