Minu Singh enthralled audiences at the Long Beach
Performing arts Theater on May 4th 2008 in LA California when
she opened the show for the legendary Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann.
Her elegant style and melodious voice instantly grabbed the attention
of the audience.
She was introduced by the MC of the evening Miss
Asha Sharma who is known for her upbeat and pure Punjabi style
and wit. Minu Singh performed two songs from her soon to be released
self-entitled Punjabi album, "Minu Singh". Her songs
"Gabhru Punjabia" and "Akhiyan" were an instant
hit with music lovers.
Minu Singh is a well-known artist and community
volunteer in the greater Los Angeles area. She has performed at
the Indian cultural events, multi cultural events, and Indian
Medical Association and Inter Faith events. She recently recorded
her Punjabi music album, which is due to release this summer.
Minu Singh mentioned, "It is an absolute
honor and a great pleasure to perform with such an iconic artist
like Gurdas Mann. I have great respect and admiration for his
art and enthusiastic style. I would also like to thank Mehta entertainment
for organizing this fantastic show".
