This year again on November 4, Samara Punjab farm in Coachella valley was bustling with friends and families from all the way from Canada, New York, Los Angeles, Los Vegas, Palm Spring and El Centro area. Everyone was there to enjoy the day at the farm. All of us who still have Punjab in us, were delighted to have that feeling among the vegetables and fruits from Punjab.

The day started with farm tours and fruits, pakoras and samosa snacks. People were thrilled to pick Ber from the trees. The bags were provided by the host and everyone had their fill. The afternoon was set with entertainment. Ratan Jot Diamond Bar Bhangra group performed the bhangra in their beautiful outfits.

Satwinder lovely is a very renowned singer her hit song was “Ve leja mera lak minkey mela giya tan liya davi lehnga” and she also sang with Salim Gidhey vich ek boli pa ayiyan. Her new CD “My Dream” is releasing very soon. It was a beautiful evening. Lovely is visiting Madan Kelly on family visit and she happened to be in the area to entertain the friends and family

Harry Sidhu, Dr. Sahota, Nachatar chandi, Hamel singh Mann president of Beuna Park gurdwara, Ajmer Singh Samra, Bicky Singh, Mr Patel from New York and other friends enjoyed their day at the Punjab Farm.

Harbhajan Singh Samara who established this farm with his hard work and stated growing Okra in 1995 but failed. But he never gave up. With his hard work and dedication he was able secure the title of Okra King of California soon after that.
