On Sunday, November 18, 2012, a musical extravaganza showcasing the talents of a young Texan singer Ms. Mauli Dave was held at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts, a magnificent auditorium with a capacity of 1,250.

It was a fund-raising event organized by Param Shakti Peeth of America (PSPA) and Indo-American Family Heritage (IAFH), both non-profit organizations.

Mauli Dave's Concert was organized under the leadership of  Mr. Anil Parekh Founder President of Indo American Family Heritage (IAFH). He was the Chief Anchor and was supported by his team of volunteers to organized this enormously successful event.

This was first big event organized by IAFH team. Founder and President Mr. Anil Parekh gave complete credit to the new volunteer team consiting of Raju Patel, Jagdish Patel, Abhinav Mehta, Mahesh Mehta, Madan Patel, Vijay Desai, Praxik Shah, Alka Patel, Ansu Jain, Mona Parekh, and Nilesh Patel.

Mr. Anil Parekh serves the Indo-American community in so many ways. He is also a Co-Founder of Indo-American Senior Heritage (IASH) and served as its founder secretary 6 years. IASH's  goal is to foster, promote, and support the health, social interaction, and culture for seniors in Southern California. This program has been very successful, mainly because of the help from great volunteers, prominent community leaders, and donors.

Mr. Anil Parekh is also serving the youth and young families. He has put together a group of young families and founded a nonprofit organization called Indo-American Family Heritage (IAFH) to promote and support Indo-American Families health, social interaction, marital relations, jobs and culture for Indo American Families in Southern California

As a community it is important for us to instill our culture in our youth and this has also been one of the major guiding  force of  Indo American Family Heritage. Seeing our youth work together for the event and at the same time learning about their beautiful culture is a priceless experience. We hope this will help fuel our youth to continue to work together as a community and ensure our culture is passed on to future generations. Currently there is no charge to become member of Indo American Family Heritage (IAFH). Free membership offer is for everyone, regardless of age or gender.

Mrs. Uma & Mr. Avadhesh Agarwal were the Grand Sponsors of the event and Dr. Krishna Reddy was the Gold Sponsor along with several Silver & Bronze Sponsors.

   Ms. Mauli Dave is a talented and beautiful singer from Texas, who gained popularity as a successful contestant on Zee TV’s popular show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. She entertained the audience of more than a 1,000 who sang and danced along to popular Bollywood numbers. She was ably supported by the orchestra of Leena and Oni Benjamin and well-known local talents Suresh Bhatt and Aminder Singh.

The attendees were served with a free sumptuous dinner. Mr. Anil Parekh and his team richly deserve all the praise and congratulations for organizing such an event that enthralled the residents of Los Angeles & Orange Counties.

Ms. Mauli Dave television host, singer, actor, and dancer was a finalist on Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007.

  • In 2003: She was also a finalist in Sony Entertainment's Chalo America Boogie Woogie
  • In 2007: She was crowned Miss Teen India Texas
  • Mauli then decided to move to Mumbai at the age of 19 to pursue a career in Music and Acting.
  • In 2008: She hosted a family dance show on the Zee Network titled "Rock n Roll Family", lead role in a Zoom Tele-Film "Ek Anhonee", participated in Fear Factor India: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 4 and made it to the top

She was seen in one episode of the Zee TV serial, Parrivaar. Her towering personality gives her the additional advantage of a massive screen presence. It is no wonder, that, the famed music director Bappi Lahiri called her "Indian Shakira".

"I'm not focusing on winning Sa re ga ma pa" NRI Mouli Dave

Ms. Mauli Dave, booked her flight for USA after last Friday's insipid performance on Zee's Sa re ga ma pa Challenge 2007. But luck had something else in store for her. Fortunately, she came into her own on Saturday. May be the presence of Bollywood heartthrob Salmaan proved to be an inspiration.

She may not be the most talented singer on Sa re.., Mouli is bagging heaps of viewer's vote. "As an American India, I feared people may not vote for me. However, I'm far ahead of my other female contestants" said Mouli.

Ms. Mauli Dave, 19, Gujju girl singing sensation is loaded with offers from both Bollywood and Tellywood. Recently, Mouli performed in Zee's Parivaar. However, Mouli has no intentions of acting in soaps but wants to shine on the big screen.
Viewers are often shocked when they hear Mouli as they wonder how an NRI girl can sing so well in Hindi.

She hasn't spent the best part of her life in the USA. Her family moved to US when she was eight years old. However, few years later, Mouli came back to her birth place,Ahmedabad to resume her studies and pursue her passion.
