Even before the year 2004 comes to an end, the news is out that the Zee Cine Awards for excellence in Hindi cinema for the year 2004 will be held in London next year. This is a calculated attempt on the part of the Zee network to attract more of the NRI audience. The Zee network has a wide following on the international scene.

This will be the second time in a row that the Zee awards will be held outside India. The last Zee Cine Awards that eventuated earlier in February this year was held at the Dubai media city.

Also there is a buzz that the IIFA Awards that was held in Singapore in May 2004 will be staged in Australia next year.
