A luxurious heritage hotel in Rajasthan has been prepared to host a lavish party Saturday night for Hollywood actress Liz Hurley and her beau, non-resident Indian businessman Arun Nayar, and the their family and friends.

The couple and their entourage have been staying at the Devigarh Fort Palace near Udaipur since Thursday afternoon.

The secrecy surrounding the celebrations has sparked rumours that the couple may take their wedding vows there. The hotel's management has maintained that it does not have any information regarding the couple getting married there.

Security has been tightened around the hotel as paparazzi gathered outside the hotel in large numbers to get information on the event and to take pictures.

Nikhil, Arun's brother has taken charge of overseeing arrangements and decorations for the party. Arun and Liz too were giving advice on the decorations, sources in the hotel said.





The poolside, the venue for another party Friday and also for Saturday's party, has been decorated with lots of flowers. Lanterns have been placed on tables and beautiful lighting arrangements have been made all round the poolside.

Special arrangements for music have been made to give a lighter feel to the party.

Over 25 people attended Friday's party, which was comparatively a low-key affair. Liz, dressed in a red skirt and top, and Arun in a white suit celebrated at the poolside restaurant.

However, Saturday's party is expected to be a grand one. Top industrialists and some of Bollywood's top names are expected to join the celebrations. Over 60 people are expected to attend the party, sources said.

Hurley's mother Angela, son Damien and a host of friends from England are here.

And from Mumbai, Parmeshwar and Adi Godrej, Nawaz and Gautam Singhania, Anju and Farhad Taraporvala, Haseena and Mahesh Jethmalani, Aarti and Kailash Surendrenath and Farah and Riyad Oomerbhoy are slated to take part in the celebrations.

There are unconfirmed reports that Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Yash Chopra, among others from Bollywood, are expected to join the event.

Devigarh Fort Palace is located 26 km northeast of Udaipur. Tucked away in the age-old Aravali hills of Rajasthan, the 18th century palace is a perfect romantic getaway in the desert state.

It offers 22 suites that are unique, luxurious and beautiful, yet equipped with the most modern of conveniences. Most suites include an individual terrace or garden.
