"Karma, Confessions and Holi" (AKA: Karma)
Exposing underbelly of Indian community living in
the US. 5 couples meet over a weekend - tipsy, they
end up sharing stories from the past and relationships
change forever..
'Talk about sex? No way, we are Indians!!'
From the land of the TajMahal and Kamasutra thousands
of techies and not-so-techies have migrated to the
US with their curry, philosophy and traditional Indian
values frozen in time of immigration. Amidst the affluent
world of yoga, spirituality, charka meditation, Deepak
Chopra and Chicken Tikka masala that have come to
be associated with one of the wealthiest immigrant
community, there is loneliness, confusion, ambitions,
compromises and yes sex but we are Indian,
we don't discuss it.
What happens when the world of early immigrants,
doctors, professors and engineers, frozen in time,
hanging on to unrealistic Indian traditions meets
the philosophy of this new-age sophistication? It's
a surefire recipe for confusion and chaos in this
simmering Indian curry. 'Karma, Confessions &
Holi' allows a kaleidoscopic glimpse into the lives
of a group of relatives, friends and strangers who
get together for a weekend to celebrate the festival
of spring, color and new beginnings - Holi.
An unexpected 'unmentionable' encounter before the
celebrations triggers tipsy partygoers to confess
their inner most secrets that have never been revealed.
The results are catastrophic as this seemingly harmless
game gets out of hand. The truth is a bitter pill
of betrayal and shattered illusions. Will their lives
be the same again? Can the morning of Holi bring new
promises and new beginnings..? Find out as this karmic
encounter comes full cycle.

Former Miss Universe
Sushmita Sen
A person reared in the cocoon of cantonment life,
in a middle-class suburb of Delhi, now showered with
attention of global proportions. An ambassador of
feminine beauty, peace, love, and optimism, at an
age most kids are worried about getting a driving-license
and a drinking permit. That's Sushmita Sen. That's
Miss Universe, 1994 orginally born on 19 Nov 1975.
Sushmita is intelligent, but it is an intelligence
as yet untainted by realism. Before all this happened,
hers was yet a gossamer world, tipped between the
cradle and the crown. Creative rather than literal,
poetic rather than pedantic, it is these very qualities
that endeared her to the viewers and judges.
She has led a rather normal filmi existence and has
had her fair share of carping critics, her erratic
lifestyle, her unpunctual ways, her live in relationships,
her much married boyfriend Vikram Bhatt, her phenomenal
asking price, her undeflated ego,her problem and consequent
patch up with Akshaye Kumar, all have brought her
morethan her share of flak.
Supermodel Naomi
Campbell
Naomi Campbell almost seems prehistoric in the fashion
industry since she has been on everyone's radar for
what feels like forever. She continues to be as beautiful
today as she was when she first started modeling.
Although she has faced personal ups and downs, she
still remains one of the world's top models.
