Monica pleaded in her letter that she
had nothing to do with the criminal acts of Salem and she be allowed
to return to Norway.

As a NRI having 30 years experience,
I like to say that majority of the NRI children who were born
between 1965- 1985, are very straight forward, honest and very
successful being have a challenge in western society. Monica Bedi's
NRI family belongs to small village of Punjab and had no history
to train her terrorism.
Due to our great culture, parents always
teach their kids good things about India. Indian Film industry
also have great part to attract NRI kids.
Monica got into films after she met
producer Manoj Kumar in England while she was studying English
literature at Oxford in 1992. Manoj’s son Kunal was her classmate.
Manoj Kumar is believed to have launched her film career along
with his son Kunal.
In Bombay, she came in contact with
Mukesh Duggal, a film producer, who took her to Dubai for a stage
show. In Dubai, he introduced Monica to Abu Salem. Salem helped
Monica get work in Hindi movies.
Salem's financial dealings with certain
Bollywood folk were very strong, gang's hierarchy, duped a Sharjah
bank of millions of dollars, attacks on leading filmmakers involved
in the murder of Bollywood music industry czar Gulshan Kumar in
1999, and the killings of Ajit Diwani and Pradeep Jain, both associated
with the Hindi film industry.
In my view, Monica Bedi is innocent,
and trusted Abu Salem because he helped her to get in movies.
Abu Salem trapped her to forged documents and for acquiring fake
passport. Once she was trapped, he made her slave and she follow
his orders
Indian Govt. must consider this:
- Did Monica Bedi had any wrong doing
history before meeting Abu Salem?
- Did Monica Bedi's parent in Norway
or his uncle in India have any connection in terrorism?
- Did Monica Bedi went to India to
become a movie Star only or other ambitions?
If answer is positive of these questions, Indian govt. should
use Monica as witness not a suspect. She will be very helpfull
to get all information.

- I agreed Gary Singh's opinion. Very soon we will come to know
the truth. If Monica is not married to Salem, not involve in
terrism in Bombay with any intension, used her infront to secure
forged pasport, NRIs must help her by media and finacial support
to hire top lawyers.
Keep in mind, these terrorist are spreading worldwide but they
will loose this war in the long run if democratic Countries
will get together. India is democratic and great Country by
culture but they must improve their judicial system even with
