Appraisal of Life...

If you do not know where you are going, then how will you get there? Visualise! Make pictures in your mind. See the destination. Imagine your arrival. Dream in perfect detail. See yourself the way you want to be when you arrive. See yourself arriving. Make yourself a road map and study it every day until you know the way and the destination by heart…Courtenay.

Sometimes, it’s hard to tell if things are coming together or falling apart. Regardless of how things might appear at any given moment, you must keep the faith in the Almighty and in yourself. The only way to arrive is when you are truly listening and following your own heart and soul. Trust the process of life!

Go after your dreams and goals, true leaders can see through the fog. Whatever you do, don’t become static. Forget about what others might think or say. Stop yourself to be controlled or directed by others, regardless of their position- you are the conductor of the melodious symphony that is your life!

You must break away or remove yourself from anything or anyone that is negative. Anything is possible as long as you believe it. It’s time to dream a bigger dream, for life is all about dreaming, hoping and wishing. Don’t listen to the voice of the past. Going backward is never a far sighted experience. Instead of thinking what was, think on what can still be!

Your mind must be clear and you must move with decisive speed. I won’t lie to you, there will be indecisions and delays, but you must know that you always have options in life. Don’t judge your progress by what someone else is doing or has achieved in life. True, it’s always good to have role models to look up to, but when it comes to your destination and arrival, the only mark you should use is your own!

Be flexible to rewrite the script of your life if you have to. Be bold in all you do, it will make a difference. To arrive on your chosen path, you must be a visionary. The only thing that can’t be borrowed is where you are heading, that you must develop yourself. Your vision will guide you through. Don’t lose perspective; the way to your arrival is not in the sky, but in the heart (Buddha).

Who looks outside dreams….who looks inside awakens. This is your appraisal of life!
