Move! Speed is of Essence in War…

As I went from one town to the next in service of my ideals during my younger years, I came across a small village where every house had a picture hanging on a wall with the image of the leader of the ‘right’ on one side and the image of the leader of the ‘left’ on the other side- when invaded by either group the villagers would display the side they thought would save their life. Months later I came across the same village, this time I saw nothing but ashes- every house with people in it was burned down. Had General Patton witnessed this tragedy, he would say “It’s better to live for something, than to die for nothing”. In life you can’t live in fear, much less to be undefined out of fear. When you maintain a noble position and definition in your life, the opposition might still kill you, but it’ll respect you for it.

By now you know that your greatest enemy is your ego- and fear is its best friend. So, if your enemy’s friend is your enemy- fear is your silent enemy in life. In war the only way to defeat the enemy is by taking advantage of its unpreparedness and exploring new and unexpected routes with speed. Fear will conquer you if you get stuck in a rut and it will shadow your life if you remain ignorant. Don’t waste time, this is your war and you must keep moving forward!

In every war you need allies- right? You can’t fight this war alone. I almost forget, this is your war and it’s yours to fight- but you possess all the resources to win if you are willing to fight and forge ahead. Are you ready for victory? Are you ready to let your supreme inner strength face your enemy and your enemy’s friend? Then, you need to lose to gain and break to make your perceptions- because it’s in your perceptions that you’ll find your allies.

The core of your perceptions is the fact and acceptance that you are not a victim of fate- instead, you are fate. Empower your perceptions with knowledge- it’ll dissipate your fear. I say ‘dissipate’ because you never eliminate fear in war- but you’ll learn to challenge and transcend it. You must feed your faith- believe with all your heart that the Almighty that safeguarded your yesterday will take care of your tomorrow as well. I assure you that if you let your passion for life be robbed by fear you’ll hate your life and yourself for it. You know your enemies; now, you need to know yourself to win this war. In the transformation of your perceptions you’ll discover that the battle field is the same, but your disposition to fight your war has changed. Move! Speed is of essence in war…
