Together We Can Fly!

My Dear Readers & Friends,

We’ve come a long way… haven’t we? I’m so grateful to you for embracing my writings. But we still have a long way to go…what matters though, is that we’re learning and growing together. I’m sure you agree that time will pass by, whether we do something constructive or not- so might as well do it!

Speaking of time…ah, it seems like yesterday- I was 13 years old when I started my own little business- selling door to door, crafts I made. Since I offered a payment plan…some people paid back, but others didn’t. However, education reminded that I needed to wait to be a little older-so, that was the end of my business. I came back into the work force when I was 16, as a baby sitter…taking care of a college professor’s beautiful baby. However, education introduced me to the concept of becoming an ‘independent contractor’-so, I delivered a paper route 3 times a week. By age 23 and after a couple office jobs- I decided to have my own business. I opened a freight forwarding company (consolidating cargo). I sub rented office space from a large export-import warehouse business in Miami. On their parking lot, there was a very, very old trailer…that was my office. The new era of the internet came into the picture- and that was the end of my little business. After this great experience, I got a job and I went back to school to enhance my education.

I never forget the words of my first business class professor- he said “There is an expensive way and a less expensive way to go through life…the expensive one, is without an education” My Dear readers and friends, we already know that life has ups and downs- but with an education, knowledge and skills…the bouncing between these two is smoother. We know that to become successful, is to go from failure to failure with enthusiasm (Churchill), but it’s much easier to get up after failure if we have an education, knowledge and skills.

I know some of you might wonder- what does she care? It’s normal that you ask this question. I know the world can be ugly and mean…but it’s also beautiful and caring. I care and a lot of people do too. There are people out there; protecting and doing for those who can’t protect themselves. They know and I know that the more someone has or knows- the more responsibility he or she has before God and life. “Thousand of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened- Happiness never decreases by being shared” (Buddha)

I believe the world has always seen hard times- life is not easy…I know that. But the only way we can get rid of poverty…especially that of the mind- is through knowledge. Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave- Education is the most significant weapon we can use to change the world! Please, remember that only when we become knowledgeable, we have the capacity to govern ourselves. And to answer the question…why do I care? Because I need you- Yes, I need you. We are each of us an angel with one wing; we can only fly by embracing each other. I need you, so we can fly together!

If I said to you that you have the opportunity to go to school online- at your own pace and time- for only $30.00 dollars (Registration Fee) and classes are free (scholarship) would you do it? I hope with all my heart that you said ‘Yes’!

This is an educational program authorized and approved by the White House. It offers all kinds of certifications- including IT programs (which are extremely expensive at a regular technical school). You do not have to do any paper work. And like I said, you can call the US Department of Education and the White House or any other Bureau that you can think of …to confirm its authenticity.
