Shankar Ram elected Chairperson of the TiE Global Board

Shankar has been a member of TiE SoCal since its inception. He has been an entrepreneur for over 35 years, starting his first company in 1983 and followed by four other companies, with successful exits for each of them. Shankar is an avid investor, making his first investment in 2001. He is an active member of TiE SoCal Angels, and Guindy Alumni Angels, Santa Clara.

Shankar started the first Angel fund in the TiE ecosystem in 2020. He was the Chair of TiE SoCal Angels and currently the Managing Member of the $4+ million fund, TiE SoCal Angels Fund 2020 & TiE SoCal Angels Fund II. He is also the President of Food Finders.

In addition, Shankar is also the co-founder of Startup Steroid and SPV HUB.
