India Association of So. California Republic day celebration on Jan 21st in city of Orange

It is a day to remember when India's constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country's transition toward becoming an independent republic.The Program was started at 11.00 AM with delicious appetizer and hot tea to keep crisp winter morning warm. By 11.30 more than 250 people arrived and unfurling of the Indian flag, was followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.

Participant and many guest  started the parade led by Charu shiv Kumar, Nalini Bhatti Ravi Vishwanath Sushila Parikh, Prakash Pancholi and Nila parikh. They started from one end of the restaurant chanting bharat mata ki Jai and Bande matram waving flag of India to other end. Every one was waving to marching parade and encouraging other children to join the march also.

Cultural part of the program started with American pledge of legion by Catherine white Doshi and Jay and Meera followed by Indian National anthem sung by all the committee members and lead singer Sabari Girish.

Special song was written by kamini khare tittle Oh Bharat ki Dharti Ma tuje Mera pranam sare hindustani ka koti koti pranam composed and sung by Sabari Girish.

 

Long time council women and mayor of Artesia sally flower was introduced by twice appointed state and county commissioner and founder of Narayan Seva Sanstha in USA

Ramesh  Mahajan, FIA president in Artesia area introduced Sally Flower Mayor of Artesia. Sally Flower in her speech said: "On behalf of city of Artesia  and council members, it is my honor to be here to celebrate Indi Republic day with all of you". 

Flag ceremony and lamp lighting was  performed by invited guests including Mayor of Artesia Sally flower, Tony Mondoza, Dr. Krishna Reddy  and Manager of State bank of India California Mr Pramod Narayan Tiwari. Trupty Kulkarni, the student of Savithri Art Academy rendered the classical item to venerate Lord Ganesh Ji. Followed by Bande Matram, Krishan Lila dance was performed by Students of Prachi Dixit, Rachana Naveen, Shruti katen, Lakshumu Choube, Bhavna Bhamre, Isha Joshi and Nirav Bhakta.

New item national poetry was introduced by Dr. Sharma, Pushpa Chandra, Rani sood, Kamlesh Chouhan and kamini Khare. The State senator Tony Mendoza express his appreciation for rich Indian cultural heritage and thanks every one sharing the best of India with every one in America. He presented his state pin to boy scout Jay parikh and wished him all the success and said may be you will become california senator in future.

 One talented family share their classical music number honoring mother India .about 1.30 pm. Uthra Rajamani and Sabari Girish took the stage and sang some solo and duet old and new songs that brought people on dance floor. Many people started the lunch line. Show was well plan with republic day theme. IASC is known in the community for their activities catered for young generation and families. . Many well known community leaders attended the program and they were all recognized for their community work.

The Founder member kamini khare and her team has well plan the event and welcome each guest. Program was sponsored by State bank of India California, Dr Krishna Reddy, Ramesh Mahajan, Suresh Bhatti, Harry Shad, Dr. Sharma and .Committee members.
