Vancouver Island well-driller gave dynamite to blow up
tree stumps to Inderjit Singh Reyat


Vancouver, April 23, 2004

A Vancouver Island well-driller, Ken Slade told the court that he gave dynamite to blow up tree stumps to Inderjit Singh Reyat in May, 1985, a week before Mr. Reyat tested a homemade-bomb, allegedly with Talwinder Singh Parmar, who was killed by police in India in 1992.

Mr. Ken Slade also told the court that he heard a news report about the Air-India disaster at 6 a.m. on June 23, 1985. He said to his wife that he hope that wasn't his powder, and his wife was pretty upset

In court hearing. the prosecution alleges that Mr. Reyat, Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri were part of a conspiracy to blow up the Air-India planes.
